Riverbed Optimises Data Performance Across Hybrid Enterprise
Three Riverbed solutions for optimising application and data performance across the hybrid enterprise have been VMware certified.
Increasingly, organisations are moving towards the hybrid solutions, using a mix of on-premises applications and cloud-based services, with many of their core applications and data running in private data centres while others run in the public cloud.
This shift towards the hybrid enterprise has raised a number of new challenges for businesses, which are now struggling with architectural complexity, blind spots with support, and issues with management and security.
In order to prepare for this increasingly prominent issue, organisations have to learn to manage their expected challenges in order to optimise their applications and data performance. This is where Riverbed comes in.
Riverbed has announced that three of their hybrid enterprise solutions are now VMware Ready – vCloud Air certified, meaning that businesses can now confidently purchase each product as a recommended solution to their problems.
The three products certified by VMware include the Riverbed SteelApp Traffic Manager, which optimises application delivery and load balancing in hybrid cloud environments, and the Riverbed SteelCentral Services Controller for SteelApp, which supports the rapid and scalable deployment of SteelApp services and helps control costs and improved service delivery.
Riverbed also offers the VMware certified SteelHead CX, which optimised and accelerates application delivery for hybrid enterprises, allowing IT departments to prioritise the delivery of applications over any available network.
