New Enhancements To Riverbed Partner Program Announced
To support its move into application performance infrastructure, Riverbed has upgraded its partner program so the channel can share its successes.
The company, which last week announced the integration for the first time of its WAN optimisation and application performance suites, has overhauled its support for value added resellers and integrators, promising simpler partner processes, training and certification to empower them to move in the same direction too.
For example, it’s committing to “improved sales opportunity workflow,” exemplified in its new ‘Deal Desk’ that will drive best practice sales engagements globally.
At the same time, it’s reducing the level of partner grades (from four to three) – elite, premier and authorised – as well as streamlining the process of becoming an expert in its solutions, through increased use of virtual training and special field roadshows.
Going forward, its partners can also break down their training to concentrate on individual WAN optimisation, storage and application delivery and performance management competencies as desired.
“We are making these enhancements to accelerate growth, expand into new markets and better serve our customers,” says the company.
