Arbor And Cisco Collaborate On Market Leading DDoS Solution
Arbor Networks has announced that it has collaborated with Cisco Systems to create the most comprehensive distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack protection solution on the market today.
Arbor Networks, is the world leader in DDoS detection and mitigation, while Cisco is the industry's leading network infrastructure vendor. The collaborative solution, named the Cisco ASR 9000, comes in response to DDoS attacks becoming more common and both businesses' and consumers' becoming more demanding of their internet connection.
The Cisco ASR 9000 has been described as standing at the intersection of the growing technology trends, enabling network operators to intelligently support the growth into the future as it continues to develop.
By working with Cisco, Arbor Networks is allowing customers to embedded its DDoS mitigation capabilities on a blade within the Cisco ASR 9000 router.
Arbor DDoS mitigation technology is deployed in the majority of the world's Internet Service Provider networks, including all of the world's Tier 1 operators.
With Arbor DDoS Protection, network operators who have deployed Cisco's ASR 9000 can protect there investments while cementing the quality of IP-based services and their future.
